st Is Steven Tyler Still With Aerosmith?

When Steven Tyler took the job as an American Idol judge, there was talk of Aerosmith replacing him as lead singer.

[photogallerylink id=26312 align=right]Steven, however, says although there was some tension in the group, things are good. In fact, American Idol won’t stop him from recording a new album with the band. “We’re gonna work on it while I’m doing Idol. Idol’s two days a week” Tyler said Thursday night.

When asked if a tour with Aerosmith could happen next year once Idol has wrapped, Tyler said, “I think so. I certainly hope so.”

[photogallerylink id=36266 align=left]Tyler said when he took the Idol job, there was some tension, but described Aerosmith as “a marriage and there’s a lot of ups and downs.”

I care & so do many other fans. They may have gone pop for awhile but they still know how to rock. I hope Steven & Joe can settle their dffernces & make this new album & tour happen.
